Hotel is chosen!

The contract is signed, and Board Game Bash 2012 has a location!

We’ll be there from August 3rd through 5th at the Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown (500 N. IH-35, Austin TX 78701).

Located right in the middle of downtown, the Hilton Garden Inn is near a ton of great restaurants and bars.  (I mean, if you really want to stop gaming…)  The hotel is just off I-35 on 5th St, so it is easy to find and access.

“But, hey, what about parking downtown?”
Great question!  The hotel has its own parking garage, and Board Game Bash will be covering the parking fee for self-parking in the hotel garage.  (If you want to valet, you’re on your own.)  But try to find some carpooling friends.  Carpoolers help keep convention costs down, so I’ll be able to throw them a little bonus for helping me out (and, you know, the environment).

With the hotel picked, that means registration can open soon.  So keep your eyes peeled here for more great stuff.
